Considering the current climate of violence across our land, I had to reach back into my archives to a piece I wrote in 2011. I had to remember and not lose hope at what happened in Uvalde, Texas. (Read my blog “Children are God’s reminder…..”)
Children are God’s reminder that they hold hope for the future of our world.
But it isn’t easy when they are senselessly killed. This is horrific at every level, horrendous, horrible, heartbreaking!
Continued prayers for our children, not just prayers, but protests. Gun laws must be changed. Access to guns must also be changed whether at home or elsewhere.
What I would like to know is where did this 18-year-old shooter get the money to buy so much ammunition, especially if he was not working?
