I awoke with the song Adonai by Nathaniel Bassey (https://youtu.be/l99fn9OdIvQ) playing and resonating in my spirit and mind while hearing the words in my ears “things will change when we call on that Great Name, Jesus”!
My prayers lingered on family members, colleagues and then my prayers lingered on leaders in office, politically as well as in God’s House.
House. “Speaker” of the House. Whoa….
O!
The war that is raging even now in my house, your house, God’s House, the House of the Senate, the House of Representatives, the White House and every governmental house across the globe.
What a battle……
He/she that has an ear to hear, listen and hear.
Don’t take it lightly the events that unfolded this week in the process of selecting a “Speaker of the House of Representatives”.
I mean this on so many levels – physically, emotionally, socially, finacially, politically, academically, and spiritually.
Many who say they are on the right wing are still blinded by the politics of six to seven years ago. They don’t “see” how they were charmed to believe lies that resulted in the insurrection that took place on January 6, 2021.
Many who say they are Christians are still caught up in the political game. I do not know how many bothered to watch the proceedings of selecting the Speaker of the House. They didn’t “see” the fear tactics and intimidation used against those who withstood against the popular candidate who arrogantly presumed he would win the position on the first go round.
The chaos and confusion that ensued are evidenced of what is to come, and his inability to maintain order.
Yup, I said it.
A Prophet in the political realm is a Speaker. Both use their mouths to decree and declare and to bring about order. They put aside their egos and agendas for the good of all people.
“The Speaker is the presiding officer of the House and is charged with numerous duties and responsibilities by law and by the House rules. As the presiding officer of the House, the Speaker maintains order, manages its proceedings, and governs the administration of its business.”
Do you get it, do you understand? Do you see what is at stake in choosing the right person for the office of Speaker?
The role of the Speaker is to maintain law and order tempered with mercy and judgment. But I see one with hidden agendas to take revenge against those who disagree with his brand of politics and to “impeach”….
I hear the Lord saying that the current office of our presidency is still occupied by one Joseph with the Joseph Anointing.
Take heed and touch not God’s anointed.
The enemies we wrestle against are not flesh and blood, and definitely not those who hold opposing political or religious views and stand on different sides of the aisle. The enemies are principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and spiritual wickedness in heavenly places, in the spiritual realms.
Okay, put another way, Jesus said in Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
I recall another individual with the same last name, same political party who served in the US Senate. Are we about to see a repeat of McCarthyism from the 1950’s?

“McCarthyism is the practice of making false or unfounded accusations of subversion and treason, especially when related to anarchism, communism and socialism, and especially when done in a public and attention-grabbing manner.”
I recall the words in my ears when I awoke this morning: “things will change when we call on that Great Name, Jesus”!
Let’s get to work.
Time to keep watching, praying and seeking God’s face, not out of fear but with confidence in Abba Father who holds the world in His hands.
He sits in the heavens and rules in the heavens and in the earth. He has the final say.
Remember to put on your armor, the whole armor of God, being fully prepared and equipped to not only fight but to win the battle for God’s truth and mercy to prevail.
I hear the Holy Spirit also saying to encourage the leaders, pastors, prophets, speakers in HIS HOUSE who have experienced such accusations, chaos, confusion, strife, lies and turmoil in the recent months.
Fear not, God Himself is fighting for you. He has already shifted and is now removing those who sought to do you harm.
Hold fast, stay the course, do not give up.
