God’s Résumé – October 22, 2018
A résumé is a written document that lists a person’s work experience, education, and skills.
The HOLY BIBLE is God’s résumé of Himself reflected on each page that declares His Glory and Majesty
Nature also shows forth His beauty, divine designs on the canvas of heaven as seen in every sunrise and sunset, no two alike.
Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
God also has references. Nobody is a better reference than God Himself of Himself. We can count on Him to not only keep His word but to be exactly who He says He is.
Additionally, each of us is a personal reference and a WITNESS of what God says of Himself!
Isaiah 43:10-11 10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 11 I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour.
Hallelujah!
He is our Healing Balm, Provider, our Advocate, our Judge & Jury. Our Righteousness. Our Hedge of Protection, who also provides us with Hedge Funds!
He is our Grace. Favor. Our Everlasting Father. Prince of Peace. Mercy. Lovingkindness.
The rule of government is upon His Shoulders and His Kingdom is ever-increasing, especially in the hearts of people.
He never leaves nor forsakes.
I am a Witness and I testify that HE is a good, good Father. Amen!
Though God is the Owner and Creator of the Universe and all that is in it, I am in awe that He submits His résumé to each of us, an invitation to:
Matthew 11:28- 30 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
God’s Résumé of Himself in my life just keeps getting better and better. Three years later since I wrote the above, the more I know of Him, wow! His references, Himself! Amazing!
And when I look back further in my life, 41 years ago, and even further to when I was 8, He keeps on proving Himself to me!
